Robert Logan earned four All-American awards as a sprinter for the Blue Tigers between 1971-75. As a freshman, Logan earned All-American status by anchoring the mile relay team to a 3:12.08 finish. Logan later won national championships as a member of the 1600m relay squad in 1973 and 1975, and also won the mile relay as a senior. 

After graduation, Logan later returned to Lincoln in the 1990s to serve as an assistant track & field coach. He has also served as an official for NCAA and Olympic track & field events.
