One of the best scorers in Lincoln history, Robert Woodland totaled 1,648 points during his four-year tenure with the Blue Tigers. In that span, Woodland became only the second player in LU history to make the All-MIAA first team on three occasions (1978-79, 1979-80 and 1980-81), joining fellow LU Hall of Famer LaMonte Pruitt, Jr. as the only Blue Tigers to accomplish that feat.
The 1980-81 MIAA Player of the Year, Woodland averaged 22.2 points per game over his final two seasons at Lincoln, and currently ranks sixth on LU's all-time scoring chart. Woodland also collected 553 rebounds as a Blue Tiger, making him one of just 10 LU players who finished their careers with over 1,000 points and 500 rebounds. Woodland led Lincoln to 72 victories between 1977 and 1981, capping his career with an MIAA regular season championship in 1980-81.
