VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Lincoln women's track & field team scored five points to finish in 32nd while the LU men came in 45th with two points at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships, held on Friday and Saturday (March 10-11).
In the women's triple jump,
Annalisa Barclay placed seventh with a distance of 12.41m. Lincoln's other three points came in the 60m hurdles, as
Shanette Allison timed in at 8.54 to take seventh, and
Sophia Myers clocked in at 8.55 to come in eighth. In the 4x400m relay, the Blue Tigers' team of
Jameaka Mannings,
Maria Diamond,
Chrissani May and
Shevanae Thomas posted a time of 3:48.35 to place 11th.
Rashane Bartlett finished the men's 60m hurdles in 8.02, good for eighth place, while
Kewani Campbell took eighth in the 800m with a time of 1:50.83. In the men's 4x400m relay, the squad of Campbell,
Troy Whyte,
Shanthamoi Brown and
Reuben Nichols came in ninth at 3:12.39.
