BOLIVAR, Mo. - The Lincoln women's outdoor track & field team scored 133 points to claim fourth place at the 2026 GLVC Championships, hosted by Southwest Baptist University from Thursday through Saturday (April 30-May 2).
Kimeisha Francis was named the GLVC Freshman of the Year after posting three top-five finishes in the jump events.
Aaliyannah Anderson broke the meet record in the 100m hurdles with her winning time of 13.49.
Odeshia Nanton gave the Blue Tigers a sweep in the hurdle events, as she was the victor of the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:00.76.
Ezthia Maycock placed fourth in that event after timing in at 1:02.35.
Anderson additionally was the runner-up of the 200m with a time of 23.95, while Dayjonique Cato (24.96) and
Alexis Summers (25.02) respectively took seventh and eighth. In the 100m dash, Anderson finished in third place with a time of 11.69, and
Tonya Rawlins finished in sixth at 11.83.
The foursome of Maycock, Anderson, Rawlins and Summers won the 4x100m relay in 46.14. In the 4x400m relay, the squad of Maycock, Nanton, Cato and
Quana Walker finished as the runner-up after posting a time of 3:41.85.Â
In the 800m relay,
Hannah Fatade (2:12.55),
Hannah Charles (2:12.72) and
Jeneail Henry (2:12.74) finished second through third, respectively. Henry was also the runner-up of the 1500m after timing in at 4:37.19. LU also had a strong showing in the 400m dash, where Cato (55.60) placed third, Walker (56.14) came in fifth, Nanton (56.35) finished in seventh and Maycock (56.74) rounded out the top-eight. Fatade, meanwhile, placed sixth in the 3000m steeplechase after clocking in at 11:44.43.
Francis was the runner-up in the long jump with a leap of 5.88m, and her distance of 11.51m in the triple jump was good for fifth place. In the latter event,
Annalisa Barclay posted a mark of 11.29m to take seventh place. In the high jump,
Calah McDonald checked in at fourth with a height of 1.59m while Francis took fifth with a mark of 1.54m.
