MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Lincoln women's indoor track & field team won two events and posted seven total top-three finishes at the Bearcat Invite, hosted by Northwest Missouri State University.

Shenese Walker set a meet record in the 60m dash, recording the winning time of 7.44. Hughasia Fyffe claimed third after timing in at 7.61, and Monae Carey placed sixth at 7.71.

LU's other win came in the long jump, as Annalisa Barclay was the victor with a leap of 5.65m. Barclay was also the runner-up in the triple jump, posting a distance of 11.70m.

Fyffe (25.03) and Walker (25.26) respectively took third and seventh in the 200m, and Maria Diamond (56.22) and Shantae George (56.50) took second and fourth, respectively, in the 400m. Chrissani May checked in at 10th in the 800m, clocking in at 2:20.26. In the 60m hurdles, meanwhile, Sophia Myers was the runner-up in 8.59 while Shanette Allison placed fourth in 8.64.

Next weekend, Lincoln heads to Pittsburg, Kan. for the 8th Annual Indoor Gorillas Classic, hosted by Pittsburg State University on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 10-11).
