JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Lincoln's women's and men's indoor track & field teams, both ranked among the top-25 in the country, will split time between two meets this Friday (Feb. 17). Some members of each team will head to Jacksonville, Ill. for the Hilltop Classic, hosted by Illinois College. The rest of the Blue Tigers will be in Fayetteville, Ark. to compete in the Arkansas Qualifier, hosted by the University of Arkansas.
The Lincoln women are ranked No. 17 in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's Division II rankings. The Blue Tigers have posted multiple marks that rank among the best in the country in their respective events.Â
Shenese Walker's time of 7.37 in the 60m is tied for the fourth-quickest in the nation, while her time of 24.37 in the 200m rates 12th. In the 60m hurdles,Â
Sophia Myers is fifth in the country (8.50) whileÂ
Shanette Allison is 13th at 8.64.
Lincoln has Division II's 14th-fastest time of 3:48.31 in the 4x400m relay, while in the field events,Â
Annalisa Barclay's distance of 12.34m ranks ninth nationally. Meanwhile, in the 400m,Â
Maria Diamond owns the nation's 17th-fastest time of 55.87.

Rashane Bartlett owns the country's eighth-quickest time of 7.92 in the 60m hurdles, while Whyte is 17th at 8.01.
These will be the final regular season meets of 2022-23 for the Blue Tigers, who travel to Pittsburg, Kan. for the MIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Feb. 24-25.
