JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Four members of the Lincoln women's outdoor track & field team and three student-athletes from the LU men's team have earned All-American honors due to their performances at the NCAA Division II Championships last weekend (May 27-29). The seven Blue Tigers combined to received 11 total United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-American awards.

The Lincoln women's team had four athletes each earn two All-American awards. Maria Diamond was named an All-American first team athlete in the 400m hurdles, and Chrissani May nabbed first team All-American honors in the 800m. May and Diamond joined with Kelly-Ann Beckford and Jameaka Mannings to received USTFCCCA All-American second team honors in the 4x400m relay, while Beckford also earned second team All-American status in the 800m. Mannings, meanwhile, was tabbed as a second team All-American in the 400m hurdles.

Three members of the LU men's outdoor track & field team also each earned a USTFCCCA All-American award. Kizan David received All-American first team honors after finishing as the national runner-up in the long jump. Jahnaza Francis earned USTFCCCA All-American first team status in the 400m hurdles, and Kewani Campbell garnered second team All-American honors in that same event.
