KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association wrapped up its spring academic awards by naming 19 members of Lincoln's outdoor track & field teams to the MIAA honor roll.

To qualify for the MIAA Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have completed two semesters at a member institution and possess a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Thirteen members of the LU women's outdoor track & field team were honored, including seniors Renea Ambersley, Segale Brown, and Christine Moss. Juniors Rusheda Blake, Kamoy Fagan and Melissa Tyme were recognized, alongside sophomores Vivian Akunna and Kelly-Ann Beckford. All eight of these athletes are wellness majors.

Four business administration majors, senior Rene Medley and sophomores Chrissani May, Alliyah Mayweather and Shanice Reid, also made the MIAA Honor Roll. Wrapping up the honorees from the Lincoln women's team was Kissi-Ann Brown, a senior social work major.

On the men's side, six Blue Tigers were honored, including juniors Kizan David and Tyrese Halls, both of whom are computer information systems majors. Seniors Lorenzo Davis and Yardley Pierre-Louis joined juniors Ryan Brown and Javan Gray as LU's other honorees, with all four student-athletes majoring in business administration.
