DES MOINES, Iowa - Lincoln's women's and men's track & field teams combined to win four events at the Drake Relays, hosted by Drake University last week (April 25-27).
Renea Ambersley helped the Lincoln women win a pair of relays, including the 4x400m, which the Blue Tigers took with a time of 3:41.70.
Kissi-Ann Brown,
Dylann Core and
Shanice Clarke were also on that team, which won with an automatic qualifying time that ranks second in NCAA Division II.
The foursome of Ambersley,
Rene Medley,
Christine Moss and
Shaian Vandenburg won in 46.12, and Ambersley, Moss, Medley and Brown combined to take second in the 4x200m relay in 1:36.87. Individually,
Rusheda Blake had the best finish of any Division II athlete in the triple jump after taking 10th with a distance of 11.72m, while
Tajera Lawkin placed 16th at 11.29m.
Raymone Campbell was also a member of three relay teams with fantastic performances, as he helped the LU men win both the 4x100m (42.07) and the 4x400m (3:14.63).

Javan Gray and
Ryan Brown were also members of the winning 4x100m relay team. On the 4x400m squad, Campbell teamed with
Damaine Dixon,
Mohamed Kouyate and
Tyrese Halls.
Lincoln also had a third-place finish in the 4x200m relay. Kouyate, Campbell, Halls and Gray teamed to take third with a time of 1:25.26.
