JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - After winning its season opener last weekend, the Lincoln men's soccer team plays two more matches this weekend seeking a 3-0 start to the 2025 campaign. The Blue Tigers travel to St. Louis, Mo. on Friday (Sept. 12) to play Harris Stowe at 7:30 p.m. CDT. On Sunday (Sept. 14), Lincoln begins GLVC play by hosting Missouri S&T at 2:30 p.m. CDT at Dwight T. Reed Stadium.

Lincoln is 1-0 after defeating Northeastern State, 3-1, last Saturday (Sept. 6). Vincent Osei earned GLVC Defensive Player of the Week honors after making nine saves and shutting out the RiverHawks through the first 81 minutes. Hadri Lopez was LU's offensive leader, as he attempted three shots and finished with a goal and an assist. Adam Benrahou and Rajae Lawrence scored the other two goals for Lincoln while Matthew Baker notched an assist. 

Junior Grizzelle also had three shots, two of which were on goal, and Lawrence finished with two shots. Kevon Maitland attempted two shots on goal and three shots overall. Kanye Francis and Akwasi Agyepong also had shot attempts in Lincoln's win.
