KEARNEY, Neb. - Lincoln's men's and women's outdoor track & field teams combined to win three events at the Loper Twilight, hosted by the University of Nebraska Kearney on Saturday (May 10).
Tajai Duffus won the men's 100m with a time of 10.50 and took ninth in the 200m in 21.33.
Sharim Hamilton had the other win of the meet for the LU men, as he finished with the quickest time of 50.91 in the 400m hurdles.
Joshua Dottin, meanwhile, claimed fifth in the 110m hurdles (14.54) and sixth in the 400m hurdles (54.93).
Shaneal Clarke Giddings won the women's 800m, timing in at 2:07.52, while
Britney Brown placed fourth in that event with a time of 2:12.00. Brown also was the runner-up of the 400m dash, clocking in at 54.46.
Both Blue Tiger track & field teams are waiting to see how many entries they will have in the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which will be held in Pueblo, Colo. on May 22-24.
