JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Members of Lincoln's men's and women's outdoor track & field teams combined to receive 14 all-region honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
On the LU men's team,
Dimetre Browne,
Donovan Bruce,
Keano Charles and
Ryan Jackson each received USTFCCCA All-Region recognition in the 4x400m relay.
Brandon Harris was honored in both the 110m hurdles and the 400m hurdles.
Malik Drummond and
Dejone Raymond both earned all-region status in the triple jump while
Rosean Smith and
Tajai Duffus were each selected for recognition in the 100m dash.
On the Blue Tiger women's team,
Aaliyannah Anderson earned all-region accolades in the 100m hurdles while
Odeshia Nanton was an all-region performer in the 400m hurdles.
Kimeisha Francis received all-region honors in the long jump, and
Ezthia Maycock took home USTFCCCA All-Region status in the 400m hurdles.
Up next for Lincoln's track & field teams is the NCAA Division II championship meet, held in Emporia, Kan. from Thursday through Saturday (May 21-23).
