PITTSBURG, Kan. - Lincoln's men's and women's outdoor track & field teams combined to post 10 top-five finishes at the PSU "The Almost Last Chance" Invitational, hosted by Pittsburg State University on Saturday (May 9).
The men's 4x100m relay team of
Keano Charles,
Tajai Duffus,
Dimetre Browne and
Rosean Smith had the winning time of 40.99. Charles was the runner-up of the 200m, timing in at 21.04, and Smith was the runner-up in the 100m after clocking in at 10.34. Browne, meanwhile, placed fourth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 52.39, and
Joshua Dottin claimed third in the 110m hurdles after turning in a time of 52.39.
In the field events,
Dejone Raymond placed fourth in the high jump (2.00m) and ninth in the triple jump (13.14m). Browne was the runner-up in the long jump with a leap of 7.34m.
On the women's side, the 4x100m relay team of
Tonya Rawlins,
Aaliyannah Anderson, Dayjonique Cato and
Quana Walker took third place after clocking in at 45.77.
Ezthia Maycock placed third in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:00.37. Rawlins, meanwhile, clocked in at 11.85 to take third in the 100m.
