INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Lincoln men's track & field team scored 26 points and finished in ninth at the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Championships, held on Friday and Saturday (March 14-15).
Wesley Tyndall won the national championship in the long jump with a leap of 7.58m. In the 4x400m relay, the foursome of
Reuben Nichols,
Emmanuel Rwotomiya,
Sharim Hamilton and
Leondre Francis finished as the national runner-up with a time of 3:07.75.
Rwotomiya was the national runner-up of the 400m, clocking in at 46.00.
Malik Drummond also represented LU at the national championship meet, taking 12th in the triple jump with a distance of 14.82m.
The Blue Tigers will open the 2025 outdoor season at the Miner Invitational, hosted by Missouri S&T University in Rolla, Mo. on March 21-22.
