INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Lincoln women's track & field team and the LU men's track & field team were both picked to finish second in the 2025-26 GLVC Indoor Preseason Coaches Polls.

The Blue Tiger women, which finished as the runner-up at the 2025 GLVC Indoor Track & Field Championship, received two first-place votes and 149 total points to be picked to repeat the feat in 2026. Lewis collected the other 12 first-place votes and garnered 168 total points to top the preseason rankings. Indianapolis (141 points) was chosen third while Southwest Baptist (137) and Maryville (115) round out the preseason top-five.

The Lincoln men won the 2025 GLVC Indoor Track & Field Championship for LU's first conference title since joining the GLVC as full members in July of 2024. In the preseason poll, the league coaches picked the Blue Tigers second, giving LU four first-place votes and 135 total points. Lewis received six points more than Lincoln to top the preseason poll with nine first-place votes and 141 total points. Indianapolis (118 points), Missouri S&T (111) and Southwest Baptist (92) were the other programs picked to finish in the top-five.
