KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association announced that 40 members of Lincoln's women's and men's indoor track & field teams have been named to the MIAA Honor Roll. 

Imar Tomlinson, a senior on the LU men's indoor track & field team, received the prestigious MIAA Academic Excellence Award, given to student-athletes who have completed at least two semesters at a member institution and hold a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

Shevanae Thomas, a junior on the LU women's indoor track & field team, and Shanthamoi Brown, a senior on the men's squad, earned the MIAA Scholar Athlete Award, given to student-athletes at member institutions who have completed two full semesters, hold a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, and earned All-MIAA honors at the conference championship meet.

To make the MIAA Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have finished at least two full semesters of course work at a league school and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
