JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Lincoln's men's and women's outdoor track & field teams continue their season this weekend at the CMU Invite, hosted by Central Methodist University in Fayette, Mo. on Friday and Saturday (March 31-April 1). The two-day meet will begin at 10:00 a.m. CDT each day, with the bulk of the running events taking place on Saturday.
Shemar Fletcher currently is second in the MIAA in the men's 200m, owning a time of 21.52, and
Dervin Walker is 11th at 22.31.
Kevaughn Goldson (48.70) and
DauJaughn Murray (48.84) are each in the top-eight of the conference in the 400m, and
Kewani Campbell (52.22) and
Shanthamoi Brown (53.21) have the league's top-two times in the 400m hurdles. Lincoln is also second in the MIAA in the 4x400m relay (3:16.47) and fifth in the 4x100m relay (41.45).
Dejone Raymond is fourth in the league in the high jump with a top mark of 2.01m, and he is also fifth in the triple jump (13.54m) and 13th in the long jump (6.51m). In the long jump, Wesley Tyndall leads LU and is fifth in the MIAA with a leap of 6.95m.
Malik Drummond, meanwhile, is 11th at 6.55m. Meanwhile, in the triple jump, Drummond is currently tied for second in the conference with a distance of 14.60m.
Hughasia Fyffe (12.13) and
Monae Carey (12.27) are both among the top-10 in the MIAA in the women's 100m dash, with Carey also rating third in the 200m with a time of 25.20. In the latter event,
Denita Jackson has the league's sixth-quickest mark of 25.56.
Shantae George (57.36) and Jackson (58.45) respectively rank fourth and sixth in the 400m,
Chrissani May is fifth in the 800m (2:20.20), and
Sophia Myers has the conference's eighth-best time of 1:05.85 in the 400m hurdles.
Annalisa Barclay leads the MIAA in the triple jump with a provisional distance of 12.33m, and she is also fourth in the league in the long jump at 5.51m.
