ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Lincoln men's outdoor track & field team finished 21st out of 71 programs while the LU women placed 22nd out of 81 programs at the NCAA Division II Championships, hosted by Grand Valley State University from Thursday through Saturday (May 27-29).
Kizan David finished as the national runner-up in the men's long jump, taking second with a distance of 7.66m. Jahnaza Francis claimed fifth in the 400m hurdles, timing in at 50.95, while Kewani Campbell took ninth in 54.48. The Lincoln men finished with 13 points at the national championships.
Chrissani May led the LU women with a third-place result in the 800m, as she timed in at 2:06.52. In the 400m hurdles,
Maria Diamond captured fourth place with a time of 58.19. The Blue Tiger women ended the day with 11 points.
