JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - After starting the season 3-0, the Lincoln men's soccer team is receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Division II national poll.
Lincoln is one of 12 programs ranked just outside of the national top-25 after opening the season with wins over Northeastern State, Harris Stowe and Missouri S&T. The Blue Tigers have yet to allow more than one goal in a match and have out-scored their opponents 10-3. Lincoln is one of three GLVC programs earning a mention in this week's national poll, joining No. 8 Indianapolis and No. 23 Lewis.
The Blue Tigers will host Southwest Baptist on Friday night (Sept. 19). Kickoff from Dwight T. Reed Stadium is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CDT.
