JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Lincoln women's soccer team will kick off the 2025 season with a pair of matches this weekend. The Blue Tigers officially begin the season on Friday (Sept. 12) in St. Louis, Mo. as Lincoln plays Harris Stowe at 5:00 p.m. CDT. LU then opens its home slate and its conference schedule on Sunday (Sept. 14) by hosting Missouri S&T at 12:00 p.m. CDT. All of Lincoln's home contests in 2025 will be played on campus at Dwight T. Reed Stadium.
Both of Lincoln's top scorers in 2024 return this season, including
Carolina Dos Santos, who scored the first goal in LU history in the Blue Tigers' program-opening 1-0 win against Minnesota-Crookston.
Ivanna Faria also returns after scoring a team-high eight goals last year, four of which were game-winners. Faria also had an assist to end the season with 17Â points.
Angela Reynolds scored a goal and
Jia-Li Diaz recorded an assist to round out Lincoln's top-returning offensive players.
Kanon Dehama and
Michelle Granja each started nine matches in goal last year and both players are back to handle the keeping duties in 2025. Dehama made 56 saves and posted one shutout. Granja, meanwhile, led the Blue Tigers with 73 saves and notched three shutouts. Other key returners include
