KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Rockhurst took advantage of a big first half to beat the Lincoln women's soccer team, 5-0, in the regular season finale on Sunday (Nov. 2).
Rockhurst (8-5-4, 7-4-3 GLVC) scored four goals during the first 45 minutes and finished with a 27-7 advantage in total shots. Lincoln (1-10-4, 1-10-3 GLVC) had three shots on goal and was limited by the Hawks to one corner kick opportunity.
Michelle Granja made eight saves in a complete-match effort while
Ivanna Faria had all three shots on goal and six shot attempts overall.
Madison Wimberly also tried a shot for the Blue Tigers.
