VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Four members of Lincoln's women's and men's track & field teams qualified for event finals at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships on Friday (March 10).
In the women's 60m hurdles, both
Shanette Allison (8.57) and
Sophia Myers (8.63) both qualified for the finals. In other events, meanwhile,
Shenese Walker placed 17th in the preliminaries of the 60m dash with a time of 7.80, and
Maria Diamond finished in 12th in the 400m prelims after timing in at 55.75.
In the men's 60m hurdles, Rashane Barlett qualified for the finals after posting a time of 7.98.
Kewani Campbell was LU's other qualifier, as he will race in the finals of the 800m after clocking in at 1:52.81. In the 400m, meanwhile,
Reuben Nichols ended the preliminaries in 11th with a time of 47.92.
The final events of the 2023 NCAA Championships will be held on Saturday (March 11).
