JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Fresh off its first top-10 finish of the season, the Lincoln men's golf team returns to the links this week to play in the FHSU Tiger Invitational on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 18-19). Hosted by Fort Hays State University, the two-day, three-round tournament will be played at Smoky Hill Country Club in Hays, Kan.
Lincoln took 10th at the Battle for the Belt last week (Oct. 4-5), with

Hunter Ramirez andÂ
Brett Trowbridge all finishing among the top-50 on the individual leaderboard. Rabie led Lincoln with a three-round score of 224 to tie for 34th overall. After shooting a team-low 74 in the opening round, Rabie carded back-to-back scores of 75. Ramirez, meanwhile, ended the tournament with a 231 to tie for 46th. Trowbridge placed 48th after shooting a 232 for the tournament.
Ramirez played Lincoln's best round of the season during the first round of the Watkins Invitational, as he finished with an even-par 72 on his first 18 holes of the tourney. Ramirez carded a 78 during the second round, totaling a 150 for the tournament, tying him for 18th overall.Â
Dedrick Harris IIÂ had LU's next-lowest score of 154 at that tourney, tying for 31st after shooting a 77 in each of the two rounds. Rabie carded a 158, and Trowbridge rounded out the scoring with a 163.
During the first tournament of the 2021-22 season, the Washburn Invitational, Ramirez shot a 75 during the final round to finish with a three-round score of 245. Rabie matched Ramirez with a 245, and Harris carded a 256 while Trowbridge andÂ
Rory Bills also represented the Blue Tigers.
The Blue Tigers have one more tourney remaining on its fall 2021 schedule after the FHSU Tiger Invitational, as Lincoln will compete in the Gulf Shores Invitational, a Black College Golf Coaches Association event, on Oct. 25-26.
