Final Results
COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Lincoln men's golf team finished in a tie for eighth out of 17 teams at the Columbia College Spring Invitational. The tournament, which was the first of the spring for the Blue Tigers, was played at Columbia Country Club on Monday and Tuesday (March 9-10).
Lincoln shot a 311 in the opening round and a 307 in the second to finish the two-round tournament with a total of 618. Individually,
Sebastian Rubio led LU with a total of 147 after carding scores of 71 and 76. Rubio tied for sixth overall.
Jett Maasen shot a 78 on Monday and fired a 74 on Tuesday to tie for 22nd with a sum of 152.
Jose Ulloa was next with a 159, as he turned in scores of 82 and 77.
Logen Prock and
Ayden Howard each totaled 164 for the tournament; Prock had 18-hole scores of 80 and 84 while Howard shot an 84 in the first round and an 80 in the second.
Zebulon Barnes competed as an individual as shot scores of 88 and 82 for a final total of 170.
Up next for the Blue Tigers is the UHSP Spring Invitational, which will be played at Gateway National Golf Links in Madison, Ill. next Monday and Tuesday (March 16-17).
