Final Results
BOONVILLE, Mo. - Two members of the Lincoln men's golf team finished among the top-10 as the Blue Tigers tied for third out of 11 teams at the Central Methodist University Invitational, played on Monday and Tuesday (March 23-24) at Hail Ridge Golf Course.
Lincoln posted a team score of 584 after shooting a 296 on Monday and a 288 on Tuesday.
Sebastian Rubio led LU, and tied for second overall, with a 141 at the two-round tournament. Rubio carded a 70 on the opening day and a 71 in the final round.
Jose Ulloa also finished in the top-10, tying for seventh with a 144. After shooting a 76 in the first round, Ulloa fired a 68 in the second for the lowest 18-hole total by any player in the field.
Jett Maasen tied for 24th with a total of 149 after tallying scores of 73 and 76.
Ayden Howard shot a 77 in the opening round and a 75 on Tuesday for a final sum of 152.
Zebulon Barnes, meanwhile, shot scores of 80 and 74 to end the tournament with a total of 154.
Logen Prock also played in the Central Methodist University Invitational as an individual, and put together 18-hole scores of 81 and 76 for a final sum of 157.
Lincoln's next scheduled tournament is the Missouri Baptist Invitational, which will be played in Kansas City, Mo. on April 13-14.
