INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - After leading the Lincoln men's golf team at the Yo Maui HPU Sharks Shootout, Carter Bryan was named the GLVC Golfer of the Week. The conference office announced the award on Wednesday (Nov. 4).

Playing in a tough field that included six of the top-35 teams in NCAA Division II, Bryan shot a three-round 211 to finish among the top-20 at the Yo Maui HPU Sharks Shootout last Friday and Saturday (Oct. 30-31). Bryan fired a 67 to open the tournament before carding scores of 71 and 73. Bryan tied for 20th out of 77 golfers.

Bryan becomes the first Blue Tiger ever to be named GLVC Men's Golfer of the Week. He is also Lincoln's first men's golf athlete of the week award-winner since Gabe Trowbridge was named the MIAA Men's Golfer of the Week in 2019.
