Final Results
LEMONT, Ill. - The Lincoln men's golf team shot a three-round total of 955 to take 12th place at the Flyers Fall Invitational, hosted by Lewis University at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 5-6).

LU scored a 313 in the final round of the tournament, the third of six in the fall portion of the schedule for the Blue Tigers. Lincoln opened the invitational with a 318 before shooting a 324 in the second round.

Carter Bryan and Jett Maasen tied for the lowest score among the Blue Tigers, as each player finished with a three-round sum of 235. Bryan shot an 80 in the opening round and an 81 in the second before firing a 74 during Tuesday's closing round. Maasen, meanwhile, opened the tourney with a 74, then shot scores of 81 and 80.

Wyatt Davis improved his total each round, finishing with a 240 after carding scores of 82, 81 and 77. Ayden Howard had a total of 245 to round out the scoring for Lincoln, as he shot an 82 in both the first and third rounds and an 81 in the second. Closing out the team play for LU was Matt Swayne II, who carded rounds of 84, 87 and 87 for a final score of 258.

Two Blue Tigers competed as individuals at the invitational, including Archer McDaris, who finished just two strokes behind Bryan and Maasen, posting a total of 237. After carding an 84 in the first round, McDaris shot an 80 in the middle round before closing with a 73. Zebulon Barnes, meanwhile, posted a score of 241 with 18-hole totals of 86, 77 and 78.

Lincoln will play its fourth tournament of the fall, the Bearcat Duel Gender, in Caseyville, Ill. at Far Oaks Golf Club on Oct. 19-20.
