WAIKOLOA, Hawai'i - The Lincoln men's golf team played the first two rounds of the Yo Maui HPU Sharks Shootout on Friday (Oct. 30). The two-day, three-round tournament, hosted by Hawai'i Pacific University, is taking place at Waikoloa Beach Resort and features six of the top-35 ranked programs in NCAA Division II.

Carter Bryan fired a 67 during the first round and followed with a 71 in the second to finish Friday tied for ninth overall with a sum of 138. 

Wyatt Davis shot a 148, carding a 70 in the first round and a 78 in the second. Jett Maasen, meanwhile, shot scores of 72 and 79 to end the day with a sum of 151.

Matt Swayne II shot a 76 in the opening round and carded a 78 in the afternoon session to post a two-round total of 154. Closing out LU on Friday was Jose Ulloa, who shave four strokes off a first-round 85 to card an 81 in the second round, giving him a total of 166.

The Blue Tigers will play the third and final round of the Yo Maui HPU Sharks Shootout on Saturday (Oct. 31).
