KANSAS CITY – Lincoln University track and field athletes Yanique Haye and Steve Banton have both been named MIAA Track Athletes of the Week as announced by the conference office Wednesday.

Haye sprinted to a time of 59.45 in the 400-meter hurdles competing against several Division I runners at the Drake Relays. Her time is the third best in all of Division II and trails only two other Lincoln teammates for the top spot. The sophomore from St. Catherine, Jamaica, added to that a strong second-place showing in helping the 4x400-meter relay team with a time of 3:43.82.
