KANSAS CITY – Lincoln University track and field athletes Yanique Haye and Steve Banton have both been named MIAA Track Athletes of the Week as announced by the conference office Wednesday.

Banton, competing against several Division I runners at the Drake Relays, posted a season-best time of 51.07 in the 400-meter hurdles, which is also the second-best time in all of Division II. The senior from St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, added to that a first-place finish in the 4x200-meter relay and a third-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay.
