INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Lincoln senior Abbi Conrad was named to the All-GLVC Softball second team, the Great Lakes Valley Conference office announced on Wednesday night (April 30).

Conrad started all 48 games and led the LU softball team with a .347 batting average. Conrad finished with 50 hits, including seven doubles and three triples. She batted in 10 runs and scored 28 times while posting an on-base percentage of .420. Conrad also stole 13 bases and only struck out 10 times in 144 at-bats. 

In 11 games, Conrad tallied multiple hits, including a single-high four hits in contests against Southwest Baptist and Indianapolis. Conrad helped lead the Blue Tigers to their most wins in a season since 2011 and their best winning percentage since 2013.

The GLVC additionally announced that Lincoln senior Emily Thompson was one of the recipients of the James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award.
