Final Results
ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Lincoln men's golf team finished in eighth place at the Folds of Honor Challenge, hosted by Grand Valley State University at The Meadows from Sunday through Tuesday (Sept. 15-17). Lincoln posted a team score of 951 and improved in each of the three rounds, opening with a 331 before carding a 322 on Monday and a 298 on Tuesday.
Blake Meredith tied for 32nd after pacing the Blue Tigers with a total of 230. Meredith opened the tournament with a 79, shot a 76 in the second round and closed the tourney with a 75.
Henry Mwanza, meanwhile, rebounded from a first-round 88 to shoot a 76 on Monday and a 70 on Tuesday, tying him for 37th with a final score of 234.
Logen Prock carded scores of 84, 86 and 77 to finish with a total of 247.
Remon Rabie, meanwhile, compiled scores of 80, 91 and 76 to also finish with a final sum of 247. Both players finished 46th overall.
Closing out Lincoln was
Jett Maasen, who shot a 254 for the tourney with individual round scores of 88, 84 and 82.
The Blue Tigers will be back on the links next week at the Kansas City Cup, which will be hosted by William Jewell College at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex in Smithville, Mo. on Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 23-24).
