Final Results
KOHLER, Wis. - The Lincoln men's golf team shot a three-round 945 to finish in fourth place at the 2025 PGA WORKS Championship, played at Whistling Straits Golf Club on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (May 5-7).
Henry Mwanza placed sixth overall after shooting a 228 for the tournament. Mwanze shot a 73 on Monday and a two-under 70 on Tuesday. Facing difficult course conditions on Wednesday, Mwanza shot an 85 to close play in the tournament.
Blake Meredith also finished in the top-10, shooting a 233 to end the PGA WORKS Championship in eighth place. Meredith shot a 75 in the first round, a 76 in the second and an 82 in the third.
Jett Maasen and
Nico Tovar Cardona each tied for 24th with scores of 243. Maasen fired a 78 in the first round before shooting an 83 and an 82, respectively, during the final two rounds.
Nico Tovar Cardona, meanwhile, opened play with a 77 before carding an 86 during the second day and an 80 during the third.
Closing out the Blue Tigers was
Alejandro Tovar Cardona, who shot scores of 90, 84 and 86 to finish in 39th with a total of 260.
