Final Results
OSKALOOSA, Iowa - The Lincoln women's golf team finished in fourth place at its season-opening tournament, the Statesmen Invitational, hosted by William Penn University at Edmundson Golf Course on Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 9-10). Lincoln shot a team total of 321 during the first round and a 324 during the second for a final sum of 645.

Divya Gunasegar carded a two-round total of 152 to lead the Blue Tigers, shooting a 75 in the opening round and a 77 in the second to finish in seventh on the individual leaderboard. Kaathi Gunasegar also finished in the top-10, taking ninth with a sum of 155 after tallying 18-hole totals of 78 and 77.

Maria Villamil placed 16th with her total of 163 after putting together scores of 79 and 84. Elliott Hull and Miljojka Gojkovic tied for 27th with identical scores of 175 as each played carded an 89 on Monday and an 86 on Tuesday.

The Blue Tigers will next play in the Folds of Honor Challenge, hosted by Grand Valley State University at The Meadows Golf Club in Allendale, Mich. from Sunday through Tuesday (Sept. 15-17).
