KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Lincoln men's golf team shot a 310 on Monday (April 15) to finish the opening round of the 2024 MIAA Championship in ninth place. The three-day, three-round tournament is being played at Shoal Creek Golf Club.

Henry Mwanza shot a three-over 74 on Monday to lead the Blue Tigers and finish the day in 16th overall. Austin Shoemaker fired a 76 to end the day in a tie for 21st. Blake Meredith is in 37th after carding a 79 and Remon Rabie is two strokes back with an 81, placing him in a tie for 40th. Nico Tovar Cardona closed out LU with an 86 on Monday.

The second round of the MIAA Men's Golf Championship will be played on Tuesday (April 16).
