LEMONT, Ill. - The Lincoln men's golf team carded a 306 on Monday (Oct. 7) and a 321 on Tuesday (Oct. 8) to finish in ninth place at the Flyers Fall Intercollegiate with a combined sum of 627. The two-day, two-round tournament was hosted by Lewis University at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club.

Remon Rabie and Henry Mwanza tied for 19th to lead the Blue Tigers with totals of 154. Rabie shot a 73 in the opening round and an 81 in the second while Mwanza carded scores of 74 and 80.

Blake Meredith tied for 36th with LU's next-lowest total of 158, as he shot a 77 on Monday and an 81 on Tuesday. Jett Maasen finished with a sum of 161 after shooting 18-hole scores of 82 and 79 while Nico Tovar Cardona shot an 88 in the first round and an 86 in the second to end the tournament with a 174.

Lincoln will next play in the Whistling Straits Classic, hosted by Taylor University at Whistling Straits Golf Club in Sheboygan, Wis. next Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 14-15).
