Final Results
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The Lincoln cross country team placed 11th out of 15 teams at the GLVC Championship race, held on Saturday morning (Oct. 26).

Maria Diamond was Lincoln's top-finisher, ending the 6k race with a time of 25:06.02 to score 55 points for the Blue Tigers. Diamond was also selected by the GLVC as one of its 2024 James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Honorees.

Britney Brown timed in at 25:48.32 to score 60 points for LU while Shaneal Clarke Giddings earned 61 points with her time of 25:48.44. Shevanae Thomas clocked in at 26:33.35 and garnered 67 points as the Blue Tigers collectively finished with 321 total team points.

Odeshia Nanton ended the race with a time of 28:10.66 and Nehlia Mills posted a time of 28:53.15. Rounding out the Blue Tigers was Nattesha Palmer with a time of 29:17.37.
