COLUMBIA, Mo. -
Hannah Fatade finished sixth overall to lead the Lincoln cross country team to a seventh place finish out of 11 teams at the Larry Young Invitational, hosted by Columbia College on Friday evening (Sept. 12).
Fatade finished the 5k race with a time of 20:29.18 to score six of Lincoln's 221 points. LU's next-best finisher was
Jeneail Henry, who scored 35 points with her final time of 22:20.94.
Ezthia Maycock turned in a time of 24:31.43, followed by
Odeshia Nanton with a result of 25:09.19. Britney Brown clocked in at 27:29.85,
Calah McDonald finished the race in 31:05.25 and
Kimeisha Francis closed out the Blue Tigers with a time of 35:56.00.Â
The Blue Tigers will next be in action on Friday, Sept. 26, when Lincoln returns to Columbia, Mo. to compete in the Gans Creek Classic. Hosted by the University of Missouri, this race, held at Gans Creek Cross Country Course, will begin at 9:00 a.m. CDT.
