Final Results
COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Lincoln cross country team placed seventh out of 11 teams at the Larry Young Invitational, LU's first competition of the 2023 season, on Friday (Sept. 15). The 5k race was hosted by Columbia College at Gans Creek Cross Country Course.

Doreen Onchangu led Lincoln with a time of 20:28.87 to take 18th overall, and Maria Diamond claimed 27th with a time of 21:21.79. Shaneal Clarke Giddings turned in a time of 22:45.52 to check in at 42nd, and Shevanae Thomas rounded out the top-50 with her time of 23:41.12.

Nattesha Palmer clocked in at 25:16.23, and Shantae George timed in at 25:27.61. Denita Jackson (25:36.29) and Nehlia Mills (26:01.10) rounded out the Blue Tigers' performance.

Lincoln next competes in the Bearcat Classic, hosted by McKendree University in Lebanon, Ill. at 3:45 p.m. CDT next Friday (Sept. 22).
