JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association and Lincoln University announced a change in venue for the 2022 MIAA Cross Country Championships on Wednesday (Sept. 21).
 
Lincoln was originally set to host this year's championship races. After talks that included LU and MIAA staff as well as other administrators in the conference, the decision was made for Lincoln and Missouri Southern State University to swap years of hosting. Missouri Southern will now host the conference championship races on Nov. 5 in Joplin, Mo.
 
The 2023 MIAA Cross Country Championships will now be hosted by Lincoln in Columbia, Mo. at Gans Creek Cross Country Course, the home course for the University of Missouri and the future site of SEC Championships. The 2023 MIAA Championships will be held on Oct. 23, 2023.
