COLUMBIA, Mo. -
Maria Diamond finished 31st in the scoring to lead the Lincoln cross country team to an 11th-place finish at the Larry Young Invitational, hosted by Columbia College on Friday (Sept. 16).
Diamond clocked in at 20:26.21, and
Chrissani May had Lincoln's next-quickest time of 23:06.43.
Sophia Myers turned in a time of 24:34.44, followed by
Nehlia Mills, who timed in at 24:49.99.
Two other runners represented the Blue Tigers on Friday.
Shevanae Thomas posted a time of 25:35.58 while
Jameaka Mannings timed in at 26:08.64.
The Blue Tigers will be back in Columbia on Friday, Sept. 30 to run in the Gans Creek Classic, hosted by the University of Missouri at 9:00 a.m. CDT.
