JOPLIN, Mo. - The Lincoln cross country team closed its 2022 campaign with a 13th-place finish at the MIAA Championships, hosted by Missouri Southern State University on Saturday (Nov. 5).

Maria Diamond scored 54 points after finishing the 6k race with a time of 23:26.40. Shevanae Thomas was LU's next-quickest finisher after clocking in at 26:47.09.

Nehlia Mills checked in with a time of 27:11.90, and Sophia Myers was next for LU at 28:27.01. Nattesha Palmer (28:56.19) closed out Lincoln's top-five, while Jameaka Mannings (29:19.04) and Denita Jackson (30:17.62) also represented the Blue Tigers.
