KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association announced on Tuesday (Nov. 22) that six members of the Lincoln cross country team were named to its 2022 Academic Honor Roll.
Three juniors and three sophomores earned the distinction, which was bestowed upon cross country runners who possess a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher and who have completed at least two full semesters at an MIAA institution.Â
Representing LU's juniors were
Maria Diamond,
Jameaka Mannings and
Chrissani May. Diamond, from Lagos, Nigeria, is a wellness major. Mannings is a biology major from Kingston, Jamaica, while May is a business administration major from Manchester, Jamaica.
The sophomores named to the list included
Shantae George,
Nehlia Mills and
Shevanae Thomas. George, from Georgetown, Guyana, is a civil engineering major. Mills is a nursing major from Kingston, Jamaica, while Thomas is a psychology major from Manchester, Jamaica.
