COLUMBIA, Mo. -
Chrissani May led the Lincoln cross country team at the Gans Creek Classic, the second race of the season for the Blue Tigers, on Friday (Sept. 30). The Blue Tigers finished in 12th at the 6k race, hosted by the University of Missouri.
May placed 69th in the scoring with her time of 27:30.8, and
Shevanae Thomas had Lincoln's next-quickest time of 29:33.7 for 73 points.
Nehlia Mills finished in 29:44.2, followed by
Jameaka Mannings with a time of 30:08.5. As a team, Lincoln scored 367 points.
Denita Jackson posted a time of 30:33.4, and
Nattesha Palmer checked in with a time of 31:13.6.
Sophia Myers closed out the Blue Tigers with a time of 31:43.3.
Lincoln will next compete in the Border War, which will be hosted by Principia College in Elsah, Ill. on Friday (Oct. 7) at 5:00 p.m. CDT.
