ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Lincoln baseball team fell to Missouri-St. Louis, 9-0, in the first contest of a four-game series on Friday afternoon (April 24).
Easton Stuckenschneider led the Blue Tigers with two hits.

Tim Fleming and
Aidan Streight also had hits for LU.
Missouri-St. Louis (24-19, 18-7 GLVC) turned a lead-off double into a run in the bottom of the first, but the score would stay 1-0 until the bottom of the fourth, when another lead-off two-base hit led to a second run for the Tritons. UMSL added two more scores in the fifth inning and stranded five Lincoln (6-35, 0-25 GLVC) base-runners to seal the win.
Canon Feist and
Jacob Claborn each struck out Triton batters. Defensively, Fleming led LU with six putouts while Streight and
Hunter Mitchell finished with four apiece. Stuckenschneider recorded three assists.
Lincoln remains in St. Louis to play a twinbill against the Tritons on Saturday (April 25) at 12:00 p.m. CDT.
