Day One Results
MADISON, Ill. - The Lincoln men's golf team shot a 299 on Monday (April 7) to finish the first day of the UHSP Spring Invitational, played at Gateway National Golf Links, in third place.

Henry Mwanza is in second after the first set of 18 holes at the two-round tournament. Mwanza finished the day with an even-par 71 and is just one stroke behind the tournament leader.

Jett Maasen ended the day in a tie for 12th after carding a 75, and Alejandro Tovar Cardona is in a tie for 16th after shooting a 76. Blake Meredith shot a 77 to finish the day tied for 23rd. Nico Tovar Cardona, meanwhile, is tied for 34th after carding an 80.

The Blue Tigers will close play in the UHSP Spring Invitational on Tuesday (April 8).
