HENDERSON, Nev. - The Lincoln men's golf team opened the spring portion of its 2024-25 slate on Friday (March 14) by playing in the first round of the Vegas Warrior Invitational at Wildhorse Golf Course. The Blue Tigers shot a team score of 324 and finished day one of the two-round tournament in eighth place.

Henry Mwanza led LU with a 77, tying him for 23rd on the individual leaderboard. Blake Meredith and Jett Maasen each carded an 81 to end the day in a tie for 37th. Alejandro Tovar Cardona shot an 85 and Nico Tovar Cardona rounded out Lincoln with an 86.

The Blue Tigers will wrap up play in the Vegas Warrior Invitational with the second and final round on Saturday (March 15).
