INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - After setting a season-high for points and rebounds in the Lincoln men's basketball team's overtime win against Haskell, senior Solomon Oraegbu was chosen as the GLVC/Athletic Solutions Men's Basketball Player of the Week. The league office announced the honor on Monday (Dec. 15).

In LU's only game of last week, Oraegbu scored 37 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead a short-handed Lincoln team to van 85-81 overtime victory on Thursday night (Dec. 11). Oraegbu shot .500 from the field and dished three assist while also tallying a steal. He played all 45 minutes of the win and ended the night with just one foul and zero turnovers.

Oraegbu becomes the first member of the Lincoln men's basketball team to be selected as GLVC Player of the Week.

The Blue Tigers, who defeated Central Christian Bible 114-42 earlier on Monday, close a three-game homestand by hosting Arkansas Baptist on Wednesday (Dec. 17) at 6:00 p.m. CST.
