Tyler Chapman and
Malcolm Davis combined to score 44 points, but the Lincoln men's basketball team fell to Missouri S&T, 78-70, in its final game of 2025-26 on Thursday (Feb. 26).
Chapman led LU with 23 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished three assists. Davis, meanwhile, contributed 21 points, seven assists, nine rebounds and a steal.
Max Ekono also came close to a double-double, as he provided nine points, 12 boards and an assist.
After falling behind 44-27 at halftime, Lincoln (11-17, 5-15 GLVC) mounted a furious comeback in the second half, shooting .516 overall and .615 from three-point range. LU closed the gap down to 58-53 at the 9:46 point of the second half, but Missouri S&T (19-7, 13-6 GLVC), which shot just .143 from three-point distance over the final 20 minutes, held off the Blue Tiger rally. The Blue Tigers out-rebounded the Miners, 42-36, but were forced into 13 turnovers while Missouri S&T committed only eight.
Matthieu Biembongo added eight points, six rebounds and an assist to the Lincoln effort while
Rashad Williams ended the night with six boards, four points and a steal.
Elliott Yorke, Jr. wrapped up the scoring with five points and
D'Necco Rucker and
Robin Discamps each secured a rebound.
Tyler Lucas finished with a steal and a rebound.
