JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Lincoln women's basketball team opens its 2025-26 campaign this weekend with a pair of games in Kentucky at the Midwest Women's Basketball Crossover Classic. The Blue Tigers will open their home slate on Monday (Nov. 17) by hosting Haskell Indian Nations at 5:30 p.m. CST.
Lincoln's first game of 2025-26 will take place on Friday (Nov. 14), as the Blue Tigers play Thomas More in Owensboro, Ky. at 1:00 p.m. CST. The Blue Tigers will stay in Owensboro on Saturday (Nov. 15) to play the host of the classic, Kentucky Wesleyan, at 3:30 p.m. CST.Â
Isis Sanders is Lincoln's top returner after starting all 26 games last season and averaging 7.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists.
Chase Giddings returns after shooting .273 from three-point range and averaging 6.2 points and 2.8 boards.
Kiara Cabrera, who averaged 5.1 points and 2.7 rebounds, joins
Kaleah Toran (3.7 ppg.) as LU's other top-returning offensive players.
Kennedy Jones is also back in 2025-26 after pulling down 3.1 rebounds per contest a year ago.
